- OVERVIEW
- The purpose of this policy is to provide staff and members of the public a working knowledge of the recommendations of the State of Arizona Auditor General Report published in November 2007 and effective April 1, 2008. Based on these recommendations, support orders that require debt set up or adjustment will be monitored to ensure they are entered into ATLAS and processed in a timely manner.
- APPLICABILITY
- This policy applies to all Arizona IV-D program staff performing Title IV-D services.
- POLICY
- The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) processes support orders and establishes or adjusts debts on ATLAS based on the recommendations of the State of Arizona Auditor General report published in November 2007.
- CRITERIA
- The timelines for processing support orders and establishing or adjusting debts on ATLAS are:
- 15 business days when the order is established by DCSS or the Arizona IV-D program.
- 20 business days when the order is received from another jurisdiction or from an Arizona Clerk of Court.
If all criteria are not met, the Auditor General requirements have not been met.
- PROCEDURE
- This policy is supported by staff procedures, which identify how action related to this policy will be conducted, including responsibilities, time frames, and required actions.
